February 2026 //

What I'm working on

  • I'm still collecting and writing content for Hyperfocused Salad.
  • I've made a bunch of updates to this site: redid the color, cleaned up some stuff, added reading lists, added light/dark controls, and moved the links to my social to the footer.

What I'm watching

  • Watching The Pitt and Wonder Man.

What I'm listening to

Other stuff

  • I'm trying to spend less time on the socials, more time reading personal blogs, less time dealing with bullies, more time with supportive people.
  • I had to add another cat bed to my office. I now have three cats who want to be the only cat that's sitting near me while I work. Things were getting competitive so I added a small cat tree and now everyone is happy again. Until next time they decide to be asshats.

I'm busy but not much has changed.

  • I'm still collecting and writing content for Hyperfocused Salad.
  • Finding ways to get more involved in community - IRL and online.
  • I've started planning the next round of updates to a couple of my other projects.

What I'm watching

  • I'm working my way through Hawkeye, Echo, Daredevil and Daredevil: Born Again. I also watched The Outsider and Bad Santa.

Mid-December Update //

What I'm working on

  • I've been focused on collecting and writing content for Hyperfocused Salad.
  • Started working through Mindful Design.
  • Finding ways to get more involved in community - IRL and online.

What I'm watching

  • So, December turned into October, I guess. I watched Welcome to Derry and then rewatched It and It Chapter Two. Welcome to Derry is really intense. The opening/into is perfection. Do not skip it. Bill Skarsgård is the best Pennywise. He's terrifying. I'll definitely watch it again.
  • Other stuff I'm watching - The Righteous Gemstones, Rain Dogs, White Lotus, and random episodes of old TV shows like Golden Girls, Law & Order, and ER. Rewatched all of X-Files, again.

Mid-November Update //

November has been pretty terrible so far. I lost one of my dragons, Sam, to a sudden illness. I'm still processing the loss. He was a sweet boy and is missed so much.

What I'm working on

  • Halloween is over so I've changed the theme for this site back to the regular colors.
  • I'm writing new content for my sites. Yes, Hyperfocused Salad is going to happen, soon.
  • I got a very simplified version of my "serious" site updated claudiasnell.com.
  • I contributed two three colors to @meodai's project, color-names. I'm responsible for Crucible (#555b59), Blade Runner Red (#d43c35) and Chaos Garden Marigold (#ff6301). If you like color, you should check it out.

I'm still listening to the Halloween25 playlist I put together for myself. I may have to rename that so it makes more sense.

Mid-October Update //

What I'm working on

  • I changed the colors on this site again. Then I reorganized some things and added some other things. There's a Team Blog now (it's posts about the cats and dragons). I'm moving the photoblog posts from the AngleOfView.com site to this one because the stuff I have been posting makes more sense here.

  • I'm starting to work on getting my older photo posts moved into my photoblog. It's going to be a long, slow process. I've also added a section to the homepage where I can feature some of older things. This setup wasn't working out the way I wanted so I'm going a different direction.

  • I'm still working on Hyperfocused Salad. I've got the site built and I'm working on adding more rewriting and rethinking the content before I launch. I'm hoping to have it ready to go by the end of the month. I am totally not going to have that ready for the end of September October. Maybe by the end of the year?

What I'm watching

I'm still watching lots of X Files and, despite it being October and I should be doing my yearly October Movie Festival, I just can't seem to get started on the list of things I wanted to watch.

September update //

What I'm working on

  • I still working on Hyperfocused Salad. I've got the site built and I'm working on adding more content before I launch. I'm hoping to have it ready to go by the end of the month.
  • I had updated this site's design so it was looking like vaporwave but decided to bring back the original design and update the colors.

What I'm listening to

I'm still in a Metal sort of mood so it's lots of Black Sabbath, Nine Inch Nails, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and other similar stuff.

What I'm watching

I've been rewatching Burn Notice and I have X Files on my list next. October is coming soon so I'll be planning my yearly Horror Movie watching list soon.

July update //

What I'm working on

  • I built a site for my cat, Kubrick, who is also my personal wellness coach.
  • I built myself a 'link in bio' site as a stand-alone project.
  • I started work on a new site that will be sort of a 'zine and sort of a digital garden.

What I'm listening to

Lots of Metal and in particular Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. I'll post a short something about what Ozzy's music meant to me soon.

What I'm watching

Lots of old comfort shows - House, Columbo, Six Feet Under. I also (finally) got to see Sinners by Ryan Coogler. It's as excellent as everyone had said! Yes, I was late to the party. I don't go to theaters so I had to wait for the DVD release. It's now part of my collection of vampire films.
