Goodbye Ash.

She was the best dragon ever.

I lost my good friend and bearded dragon, Ash, to cancer on August 13.

Anyone who knows me IRL knows that Ash was my constant companion for over 7 years. I got her when she was about 8 weeks old and, from the start, all she ever wanted was to be around me. Her favorite place was my shoulder as we went on adventures together. She also loved snuggling in my sweatshirt while I watched movies.

Ash enjoyed music, especially bands with women singers. She liked going to poetry readings, farmers' markets, art shows, festivals and outdoor concerts. She was always curious about people and everything going on around her.

She was a very good dragon. She never bit or was naughty - not even at the veterinarian's office.

My heart is broken and I will miss her forever.
